Catholic Calendar Magnets will arrive in a hard-sided storage box that is 6”x9” x1”. The box has a magnetic closure, and inside you will find five separate storage compartments, each labeled with the type of magnet that fits in that space.
The Catholic Calendar Magnet set includes 130 individual magnets. All magnets are printed in full color and have a smooth, matte finish.
12 Magnets display the name of the month, and along with that month’s devotional focus. These magnets are roughly 1.5” tall and are designed to be placed at the top of your calendar.
80+ Magnets mark the dates of solemnities and saint feast days. These magnets are designed to fit snugly in the bottom-right corner of a daily square on a magnetic calendar and measure 1.5” x 1.5”. Each marker includes the feast day's name and the date it is celebrated. The only exclusion is movable feast days (like Easter and Pentecost).
Finally, 16 holy habit magnets will help you plan when to pray, visit Jesus in Eucharistic Adoration, or receive the sacraments on confession.
How to Use Catholic Magnets
How to Use Catholic Magnets
The Catholic Calendar Magnets are designed to serve any Catholic Family or Classroom using a magnetic calendar.
To use the Catholic Calendar Magnets simply:
- First, open your Magnet Storage Box and pray the start-of-the-month prayer on the inside lid.
- Locate the Monthly Title Magnet, and note the color used for that month’s background.
- Find the Feast Day Markers that share the same background color.
- Add all magnets to your calendar. We suggest placing the feast day magnet in the lower-left corner of each day’s square, leaving space to write additional information for each day.
- Next, consider whether this month might also include movable feast days (such as Easter, Pentecost, or the Sundays of Advent). If so, locate these Liturgical Markers and add them to your calendar as well.
- Finally, discern when you will accomplish certain Holy Habits this month (such as attending Eucharistic Adoration or receiving the Sacrament of Reconciliation), and add a Holy Habit Marker to your calendar as well.
Please note: we have added the date for each magnet with a fixed feast day (meaning it doesn’t change from year to year). Other magnets for movable feast days do not have a date written on them. You will need to look up these dates each year.
Why Live Liturgically
Why Live Liturgically
Each month's title features a call to join the Church in that month’s devotion. These are universal devotions observed by the entire Church. Strive to not only display the month’s devotion on your family or classroom calendar, but also join the Church in praying that devotion.
Monthly Catholic Devotions are:
- January: Holy Name of Jesus
- February: Passion of Our Lord
- March: St. Joseph
- April: Holy Eucharist
- May: Blessed Mother
- June: Sacred Heart of Jesus
- July: Most Precious Blood of Jesus
- August: Immaculate Heart of Mary
- September: Our Lady of Sorrows
- October: Holy Rosary
- November: Holy Souls in Purgatory
- December: Immaculate Conception
Remember, living liturgically doesn’t have to be complicated! Simply marking the Saints on your calendar and noting the month’s devotional focus will help your family or classroom live in sync with the Church.
