The Saints and the Call to Friendship with Christ
The Saints and the Call to Friendship with Christ
THE SAINTS AND THE CALL TO FRIENDSHIP WITH CHRIST features the stories of 101 different Saints, Blesseds and Venerables from around the world and throughout the history of the Church. Each story focuses in on one particular story of a feeling that this saint experienced. Through the story it becomes clear Christ used this feeling to call them into friendship and make them a saint.
THE SAINTS AND THE CALL TO FRIENDSHIP WITH CHRIST grew out of one seed of truth: no matter what you are feeling or experiencing, a saint felt or experienced something similar, and Christ used that very thing to make them a saint.
THE SAINTS AND THE CALL TO FRIENDSHIP WITH CHRIST also borrows St. Teresa of Avila's definition of Sainthood. A Saint is simply a friend of Christ. Each friendship with Christ is totally unique, but Christ will make us saints through this friendship.
Each saint story is roughly 700 words long.
Along with each story, the book includes a full color original portrait of each saint.
The book is 6"x9", hardback. It is 320 pages long and features a helpful index.
