WHAT BIBLE SHOULD I PURCHASE FOR MY CHILD?!
It’s a great question, and since I have thoughts...
GENERAL THOUGHTS:
1️⃣First, the Bible must be CATHOLIC and include all 73 books.
Protestant Bibles have removed books and have only 66 books.
2️⃣Second, get a BIBLE, not a book of Bible Stories.
Your children can (and should) interact directly with Sacred Scripture. Bible stories are great and certainly have their place, but they should never replace reading directly from the Bible.

3️⃣Third, translation matters.
Some translations (including the very popular NIV) are decidedly anti-Catholic. Therefore, stick to the translations the Church has approved.
